I received my first SLR camera when I was sixteen, and since then, I’ve been drawn to documentary photography as another way to succinctly tell a story. I love capturing moments that reflect our shared humanity—whether it’s joy, grief, contemplation, or the beauty of the everyday. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to document the inspiring work of Space on Ryder Farm, follow the impactful programs run by Catholic Guardian Charities across NYC, and witness the joy that DVP Dance Company brings to community and senior centers throughout New York. I’ve also explored theater photography and, during the pandemic, used my camera (and my bike) to make sense of the world we found ourselves in. Below is a glimpse of some of these captured moments.
