1 This project marked the beginning of my investigation with the slide performance form. It was an extension of my Monash University Honours thesis, which explored how identities are constantly changing according to context. I was especially interested in the role of the photograph and how it acted as a site for storytelling. Because of this, I projected slide-projected portraits of people commuting through Melbourne onto the bodies of the three performers who wore white so that their bodies acted as miniature screens. Portraits were only visible whilst the performers were in movement and each performer acted as their own editor, allowing us to see only elements of each image. The set consisted of three vertical bars and two horizontal bars extending from the floor to the ceiling and a double staircase

2 This was an extension on our initial work (Identity in motion1), which we adapted into a ten-minute piece for the Melbourne Fringe Festival. We were given an old W Class tram to perform in on Federation Square (Melbourne's central square) and rehearsed at nights in the tram depot.
