Architectures of Consciousness. 

Inspired by a New York Times article exploring how the recent Wall Street occupation began to reimagine our use of space, I decided to explore this as part of a Video Art class documentary exercise. In the doing, I found myself suddenly more sympathetic to the cause, recognizing how complex a situation it is, and feeling hopeful for the ways in which it brought so many different people together.

A constant theme within my work. This time, I decided to take to the streets of New York, ask people to trace their handprints and answer a few questions. This is a start to something much larger. Perhaps this will travel to other cities too.
